When should I call a moving company?
Actually in almost all our moves, most of our clients notify us 2 weeks in advance. The general rule of the thumb is that the earlier, the better. The more lead time you give us allow us to meet your most preferred date and time schedule.
All moving companies in Singapore, for their standard type of service, require alternate pickup and delivery dates. We'll do our best, of course, to comply with the dates you prefer or the nearest possible alternatives if dates are fully booked.
Our customer care team will notify you in advance and also call you a day in advance for the move.
Do I need an estimate or a quotation?
As Singapore's most preferred house mover, a pre-move surveyor will make an appointment to drop by your place to estimate the load of your items to be transported. This pre-move survey will also help us determine the best cost for your move and the amount of truck space required. Also the pre move survey is conducted to determine the least resistance pathway from your home/office to our trucks. There is no charge for the estimate and absolutely no obligation.
The above applies to local Singapore moves. For international or cross border Malaysia moving, you might need to pay the total charge as determined based on the volume of items sometimes determined by the weight and distance travelled.
Can you estimate my moving costs over the phone or email?
Yes we can provided the items are countable. Our clients usually call or email us to quote for a piano or refrigerator move.. in most cases a single room item which can be accounted for.

What are your moving hours?
We usually have 2x main moving slots in the day and a smaller moving slot in
the mid afternoon depending on our moves on the day.
The first move usually starts at 8.00 am in the morning. The 2nd main move starts after lunch. 12-1 pm.
We have one of the largest fleet of movers trucks in Singapore to cater to all our customers needs.
However, sometimes, you if you need an urgent move, you can still give us a call and we can try to accommodate you if we have available trucks and manpower.
Do you provide protection wrapping for my items to be moved?
Yes absolutely. We endeavour to plastic wrap your bulky furniture, bed mattress, fridges and fragile items. For Antiuqes and highly priced items, we usually advice the our clients to manhandle the item unless it is too big for a single person to carry. Usually in this case, if we undertake the move, we will advice you to take up a simple insurance for that item.
Are KNT Movers "licensed movers ?"
It would be more accurate to say that we are a Singapore "registered." moving company. Our nature of business is in transportation and logistics.
Will there be any additional hidden costs?
Usually no. Most of the additional costs come from additional items not accounted for during the survey or over the phone/email quote. If the items are small and negligible, our friendly mover will just move for you at no additional charge. If the items are double or require a big space, our team leader will let you know before the move. Usually its a small token unless the quantity items not indicated are many.
